In these hard economic times, it’s always good to remember all of the things that are free. It helps keep your mind off of all the bad things that may be happening. A hike in a local park with friends and family; a snowball fight; lying on your back looking at stars; throwing rocks onto a frozen pond. All things that I feel are much better than the worries of everyday life.

There are many times that I find myself falling into the “if I only had one more thing, then I would be happy” trap. As I look back, it seems that some of the best times of my life were free.
I’m curious, what enjoyable thing did you do for free lately?

Enjoying talking/ writing to family and friends. It doesn't get any better.
Well, it didn't start out as free.....bought a can of almonds, on sale for $2.49 (now I know why!) They were horrible!!! So, I scattered them outside on my deck railing for Mr. Giggles. He is a HUGE grey squirrel that visits daily. He came. He saw. He went...and brought back two friends!!! I have 5 big picture windows so I get to sit and watch them eat and play, running along the railing.
