A glamorous crescent moon has been dancing with the unusually close proximity of Jupiter and Venus on a nightly basis. Sunday was great; Monday was probably optimal, except for the clouds. I was finally able to make an image this evening. Not what I had hoped for, but it was still a sight to see.

I am gifted to be able to live in an area where we get to see a lot of stars. If I would have had the time I could have travelled a short distance east to get an even better view.
We should all look up (or down for that matter) every once in a while for a different, often inspiring view.

There can be such magic in December skies...thank you for capturing...and sharing.
Very nice Gary. It's interesting to see your view. A few hundred miles noth and it is completely different.
Sweet
I need to look up.... thanks for reminding me!
Beautiful!
Love it Gary! Man I sure wish that we could have fished this T-Day! Dawn is going to pop at any moment. She was in false labor last night for four hours, so I am gonna be a proud poppa again at any moment.
Thanks for the comments. My intent was to make you look. I hope it worked...
